Rivers Hedrick Driven Innovation
The newly crowned 3-peat LAO champ has been turning heads for a while, so when we decided to make a high-end park board, we naturally wanted to work with Rivers. With help from Jimmy and our ADI program, Rivers went through more prototypes than anyone to date, but the result is awesome! The Current is responsive underfoot and pressable through the tip thanks to a CNC’d topsheet. CNC’d structure left in the deck keeps it poppy and responsive while maintaining flex for every press.
TIP DEPRESSION
By removing material at the tips it acheives a couple key features that Rivers was striving for. One of those features is a solid tip flex that allows for deep presses maximizing flex at the tips. The other feature being removing weight from the tips in which allows for less swing weight while in the air.
CURVED CHANNELS
By adjusting the channels on the bottom of the board it allows for a more fluid and smooth experience while sliding rails and boosting off of kickers. Its a new innovation that transitions the thought of a wakeboard through improving performance on the water as well as on features at the park.
WOOD CORE
Using profiled paulownia wood from tip to tail for trusted stability and strength. All LF profiled cores are designed to give a solid feel between the feet and flexing on the tip and tail. As the core profiles towards the tip and tail the profile thins out to create more flex.
